Has it really been 4 weeks, since my last post....
I can't believe that I haven't posted in 4 weeks. A lot has happened in 4 weeks. I officially QUIT my job! Yea! I love it, I love being home with the kids, I love playing with them, hearing their stories, and all that goes along with it, even the cleaning. In fact, my house is spotless!!
Anyway, Aidan had his MRI and EEG, things didn't go so hot, he is still seizing A LOT! Apparently, more than we even know. The good thing is they aren't all grand-mals, most of them are actually simple and complex partials, which aren't good, but better than a grand-mal everyday! So, we are going to have some more tests in the hospital sometime in June, and possibly add another medication! Fun, Fun!
Mina is almost finished with school, 9 days left! She is so ready, and so am I. We are ready to spend every waking moment at my parent's pool! We spent the weekend there, and we had a blast, it is great for children, which is why it is so easy for me to take 4 kids! Gotta love that.
I also have a new sister since my last post. She is 11 years old, and she is super cute. My parents are adopting her through the foster system. We will call her K, for now! I am not sure if mom wants me to post her name on here! She is getting along really well, just trying to adjust to having a family and rules! It's hard when you have been raised in the foster system, it's hard to come into a family and suddenly have new siblings, parents, pets, and BOUNDARIES, lots of boundaries! She is doing great though, she adores my parents and I know
More fun stuff....we have decided to put our house up for sale. We have a few things to do to get ready, but we are hoping to sell it within the next year or so. No hurry, but we would like to move out toward our families within the next year. Emory will graduate from Kennesaw in December, and we are praying that he will get a job out in that area, we have a specific one in mind, but too early to mention it. Just pray for our job situation, please!
Speaking of prayer requests...my grandfather "Bop" has been in the hospital since early last week, he was placed in ICU b/c he passed out and had to go to the hospital, found out he had NO blood. He had 4 blood transfusions, and was transferred to another hospital for heart issues. He might get to go home tomorrow, please pray for him! I am very close to my grandparents, and can't imagine anything happening to them, this incident just reminded me that they aren't going to live forever here on earth, even though that is how I would have it if I could :)!!
Our business is going exceptionally well, we may even have another client about to sign on! Can't wait. God is doing so many awesome things in our lives right now!
As far as the boys go, we still have them as of right now, but they may go back home sometime in the next few weeks. While we do not feel that it is the best time or situation, we are preparing ourselves for whatever God brings. We are praying that God will place a hedge of protection around our 2 boys and that their mother will come to know Jesus Christ. That is all we can do! Please pray for us and our children as we possibly began to make this transition! This will be the first time that we have had to give children back, we have had them for almost 8 months, and it is hard to imagine our lives without them! We love them so much!
Well, I guess that is all for tonight, I will add some more tomorrow! I am sure I have tons of pics to put up, it will probably be a slideshow of everything from the past few weeks!!!
