Mina's 1st Project
Mina had her very first project this week. I am so proud of her. Like Carlos, she has been a little behind. She didn't have the headstart that most kids have. Aidan has been read to, taught, recited abcs, numbers, etc since he was born. Mina didn't get that kind of attention until she met us, and she was almost 4. But, she has come along way. She is doing really well with her counting, with her sight words, simple math, and the list goes on and on. She is even reading a little bit. We are so proud of her. Anyway, her project was for the 100th day of school. She had to make a project with 100 objects. So, being the very eccentric, colorful child that she is, she chose neon colored puff balls. She counted 100 of them out, and then spelled out her name on a piece of poster board. She did a great job, I even let her hot glue them on. She was super excited about that. She loves to do everything by herself, I guess that's the age. Anyway, here are some pics of her beautiful project.
