Christmas

This was our 1st Christmas as a family of 8! Boy, was it fun!! Loud, but fun!! Expensive, but fun!! 6 kiddos can cost you a lot of money at Christmas time. I mean, Santa. Can cost Santa a lot of money! HA!! We had a wonderful Christmas! This was Emmy and Collier's 1st Christmas! Collier pretty much slept through it, but Emmy loved ripping into presents, and taking all of the other kids precious new possessions. HA!!

Each year before we allow the kids to rip into their presents, we remind them of the true meaning of Christmas, and who Christmas is all about.

Luke 2:9-12
And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with fear. (10) And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy that will be for all the people. (11) For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. (12) And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.”

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

So thankful for my Savior! So glad that Emory and I get the opportunity to teach these 6 beautiful children about Jesus Christ! To teach them that He died on a cross for their sins!! That He was born to die!!

Thank you, Lord for these 6 blessings that you have entrusted to Emory and I! Thank you for dying on a cross for my sins, so that I may have everlasting life with you!!

Here are some pictures of the Lott Family Christmas 2010!!!
